Victim of a hack!!

While on my honeymoon my account was hacked, they got all my characters gold and my druid of all armor. Also got many guild bank things.The GM's will not give me my items back since they claim " they don't have a time period of when it happen". I know when it happen the password was chaged on the 24th because I got an email saying it changed followed by an email on the 25th my account has been banned for illegal use of the account. Well at least they did not touch my hunter, they where using it i think to do something because it was dead and in a diferent zone and with diferent quests. The good news is that they also did not touch the other server characters including my mage. I guess they can only see the last realm players use. So please make a low level 15-20 one on another chararter and log in and off before leaving wow for the day. I also got an e-mail saying that i could get gold to buy stuff for my druid. Thats the best I the GM's can do. Sucks because my balance amor and items where quest based so I have to change to feral or become a 5 man healer again untill I replace all balance things. doing north quests. Sucks!! Also please use the Kaspersky Internet security and anti-virus. IT HAS A VIRTUAL KEYBOARD to log in and out of any site including WoW. Is expensive but keyloggers can't trace mouse clicks. Well Since im not that sure I play my druid again for a while I guess I'll make a priest. SP's do nice damage now lol.

Last 28 days

I been so busy last 28 days or so that I been abandoning this blog. After the rush of 10,000 DK's per day in outlands is starting to feel alone again. I have mix feelings about it. On one hand I get to farm some leather, ore and herbs. On the other hand I can'y find a group to do 5 man content on outlands and all my group quest need to wait untill they go green to solo them. The DK's are amazing and fun to play. I been holding on leveling the mage untill outlands is more alone because I like to grind as a mage. It's just a rush of adrenaline having to kill 10+ mobs at the same time every 2 or 3 mins. Ok enough about my crap. Let's talk gold. As if right now herbs, ore, metal bars and B.S. high end stuff is the best to sell. Sorry for those starting the game. The economy is slowing down now that many get to do a DK on any server starting at 55. Why start any other class from level 0 when you can have a fully equiped level 58? After initial quests on DK starting area you may earn about 25 to 50 gold on your pokets in less than 3 hours ( if you actually know the DK quests). You go directly to outlands and belive me from 58 to 70 is just to easy as a DK. So, for this months tip ...roll dk if you are new to the game ( really is not hard to play it ) and start doing some quests on outlands at 58. Also please read the DK forums before you start one it will help you level faster and play ir better.

December Rush

I made about 1200 gold this december. Took a new prof. and still had 600+ gold left. How ? EGGS ! The quest that everyone does on december requires 5 eggs. In the morning of Dec. 22, 2008 I wanted to do the Cookies for the quest in the city. I rush to the AH to find the over priced Eggs selling for 4+ to 10 gold every 5 or 4 to 12 gold per 5 cookies. So I decided to go farm eggs to do quest. I sold the eggs half price for 2 ro 3 gold only about 5 stacks at first to see if they sell. I put them on AH not 1 hour passed and all my auctions where sold. Started thinking ok lets do cookies and eggs. I spent every day from dec 22 to dec 31'st farming eggs for 1 hour and selling half stack to AH from 1.5 gold to 3 gold and cookies from 2 to 3 gold. 2.5 - 3 hours per day for about 1 week made more than 1k gold. Amazing. Can't wait for next holiday recepie. Moral of the story, find what sells and sell it half price. The people having control of the AH will buy your items wich in turn you put more they get stuck with high end prices you controll low prices. Easy gold. Don't get greedy if you get near price or 1 gold less you will not sell fast. You want to sell a large amount of items at cheap prices. Bulk profit. Is easier than selling at normal price for 1 or 3 days.

2nd place to farm ore

Ok sorry for the non new posts here on my little corner in cyber-space. I been busy searching for the "one ring". Lol, ok enough of my personal life I guess none here want to hear about it. Ok so I found a second farming place to skill mining from prob 75 to 180. Yeap, you have read it correctly is more than a 100 skill points to do in just a few hours and if you sell all of that ore or bars at the end of the night you prob have enough money for the first mount and more. The place is 1k needles (south of the barrens for those new to the game- just go down the lift-). Is a great place for mining and doing EASY quests. Here is the path I did a few times. You can find copper, tin, iron and some rare silver vein and a few other surprise vein here and there. How did I found about this place? well simply by questing here at mid 20's all the way to 32. I noticed that most mining veins where closer to the wall and on the cave full of birdlike mobs and centaur cave. Do one pass then if full go mail ore to alt and continue. Easy quests while mining. This zone on pvp servers is mostly horde controlled so is a safe way to get that 175 mining skill and levels. Safe hunting c yas laters.

Say no to Alts.

Seems hard to do sometimes. Please avoid doing alts before you get your first high level character. Or at least level 40. Alts. consume money because is irresistible not to twink them to advance in levels. So if you are new to WoW please read the class forums on the game official page and read what are the pros and cons of that particular class you want to play. This will save you tons of time and money being spent on low green items for them. What you can do with an alt. is to set him up near the mailbox in game and instead of your main character running to a city to sell on AH you mail the green items or any item you want to sell in the AH to that level 1 alt. on the city to do that for you. This will save time on your main running to the city every time your bags are full. Ok those are my tips for today. Go level

Wool and Silk !!!

I did this really long and detail blog about where to get silk and wool and ...I closed Internet Explorer. So your going to get the slim version of it because I'm not typing all that again. Ok, maybe a little bit.

Wool

Is been my personal experience that alliance has the upper hand on where to get it. Stockades and under Raven hill cementary. But horde has the $$$ advantage. Why ? Because nice wool drops are away from a major city and players are to lazy to get it. My favorite spot to farm it is ....not going to say ..nope ...for that you have to pay 100 gold ...Just kidding !!! Ok, here it is ..Fenris Island !!!! What? that island on the middle of the lake ? YES!!!! that is the best spot to get wool belive it or not. Whitefrost a member of Epic Dolls guild suggested to me that also humans on Beren's Peril area on Silverpine also drop a nice chunk of Wool. I have not done that run personally but if you want to try it just type beren's peril on thottbot.com and it shows you where in silverpine zone is that area. There is a quest for that also. Wool sells fast and people just cant get enough of it it. Price ranges from 50 silver to even 2 or 3 gold per stack depending on server. Usually cleaning the way to Ferins island tower and the inside of tower gives about 1.5 to 2.5 stacks and mobs are level 15+ to 19 ( human on tower is 22 or 24 you dont need to go up the stairs you get enough mobs outside and they have a fast respawn).


Silk

Silk is the hell level of tailoring I think. Not for rarity of the cloth. It just takes alot of stacks to go from silk to magewave cloth. I think my mage has used more than 15 stacks and still can create silk backpacks to get skill level points. That is because four silks creathe a bolt of silk and you need 3 or 4 to do one item. You do the math!!!!
Lucky for all silk drops alot in game from level 29 to 34 mobs...It's just a pain in the ... to get it!! Scarlet monastery is "THE" place to farm it ......!!!!!!! If you are 60+ and can run sm 4 zones in less than an hour.

I was doing this run to Razorfen Downs and the area before you enter the instance the drop of silk (and wool ) it's just great. For those who can solo the mobs you can get a fair amount of silk.

And then there was desolace!!!

Yeap, doing the good old centaur quest/ farming yields some silk and some seriuos cash for those farming gold for the level 40 mount.

Go kill the centaurs near the horde village (because vendors are just near that spot and saves time on runs) and kill cents for silk . The grey items that you get from centaurs will yield some gold after you sell per run ( of course if you empty your pockets before going at it).

Mages level 30 or 32 depends on gear skip all the above!!!!!!

Go to Arathi AoE farm the human farm near Hammer fall for silk there is plenty if not better drop than SM per hour and just sell all grey items, green drops and probalby if you are lucky and kill about 300 humans you get a blue item from them. And there is also the chest. What!!!!! Yeap there is a chest on that farm that spawns really, really fast but in different locations . Outside the barn, inside the stable, on top of the hill where the quest female mob is and inside the barn.

Ok enough if this blog crap and go level ..seriusly stop reading this crap and go level ....stop ...stop.

Kill that troll!!!

Let's talk trolls. The ones on STV drop something extra. Skullsplitter trolls. They drop wildvine this herb is used alot in the leather,tailor and some alchemy recepies. The trolls are about level 40. Ok thats my tip for today. Go level !!

Gathering for gold and a tip for mages.

Here is a tip to get some extra cash while quest leveling. Pick skinning as a profession and sell all cloth you get. Really that’s all you need. I do not care if mining is profitable as hell unless you actually stop leveling and grind ore is not worth it, herbs same can be on your path or they can’t. But skinning and gathering any kind of cloth ( linen, wool or silk ) is more profitable and sells the most. Almost every animal can be skinned and cloth drops from humanoids these two are pretty much on all the quests from 1 to 40 so skin gather cloth and sell. Mages, oohh my dear mages, stop gathering after 28 period, do AoE grinds , fast leveling nice loot. Post BC is still nice to AoE grind as a mage. Last night I made about 20 gold but spend about 8 on armor, 20 gold at level 31 not bad for a night of work plus I got 5 stacks of silk 2 of wool 4 green items to sell and a blue item dropped. So mages please go to Google and type “ In Frost we Trust” and go to the video section . There is guide there for ice mages on how to AoE grind from 28 to 70. Everyone else just have to do it the regular way. So kids please remember mage 28+ AoE grind , else skinning and quest leveling to 40. Ok that’s it go level and stop reading my blog, lol. Druid's gold tail!!!

I looooove druids to bad I can't level my druid past 50 because I can't stand alliance side AARRGGHH!!! Ok this tip I read it from some of those gold guides and it can be done by a level 10 druid. Yeapers druids can convert 1.90 gold into 4 , 5 or 10 if you like. How ? well depends on the server and market value of your server of a certain item. here we go ........

At level 10 druids get a free pass to moonglade( bastards, lol ) if you have 2 gold go to moonglade and speak with vendor Lorelae Wintersong she sells 2 enchanting formulas and 1 tailoring patern the one you want is the formula for enchanting a cloak with 70 armor , is a 285 skill enchantment formula that you can get for about 2 gold and resell it for the server price. For example I buy it for 1.90 and in my server it goes from 4 gold even i have sold it for 10 gold ..nice profit ah!! and here is the best part of this trick get your tail down to moonglade as an alt camp on the vendor and check for the formula to spawn ..every 20 30 mins sometimes 1 hour is really random I get about 4 or 5 of the same formula and then stone back to darnasuss or you can fly there from the flight path near the vendor to darnasuss. Easy money!! ..there is also some engineering recepies that sell for quite some gold those are in the hills of hillsbrad the hidden fort there I think is alliance only can't remember well lol and there is the First aid skills that you get from Arathi for 90 silver I belive and resell for 1 ot 1.5 gold. But in my experience the moonglade formula sells faster and you can get it at level 10 !!!

This simple copper trail will give you enough copper to get some serius gold at lower levels. I have a permament alt here level 12 bound in razorhill to go from AH to the copper trail in just seconds and continue farming. A word of advice, please moderate the amount of copper you release on the AH 3 to 4 stacks from 50 to 75 silver per stack sells the best. If you are a greedy bastard and post 10 stacks at 1 gold or more the possibility of someone posting their stacks for less at a more attractive price will cut down your long term ernings since you problably will spent more silver re-posting the stacks over and over.
